For all those who seek contacts to the friendly Sri Lankan people a ride on the train or AC bus will give a great look into the mentality of the Sri Lankan people at very affordable rates.
Bus or train connect frequently between Galle and Colombo at rates of around $2 for the 120 km scenic journey of around 3 to 4 hours.

There was a mistake on Hostel Bookers website,
And I was told when I got there HostelBookers are not allowed to take bookings for x1 night.
So I did not have a room when I arrived.
Luckily there was a room free, was a little more expensive but a better view and included Dinner and Breakfast which both was so good!!
The balcony looked onto the beach and I could spend hours just looking.
Its one of the best places in this area.
