This is a Trusted Review. Why?

A stone's through from the Sacre Coeur, and close to the metro and bus lines to city centre. Very friendly front desk, allowed us to put back-packs in one room before actually "booking in". Shower head broken and some light bulbs missing.... VERY small lift, but at least they have one.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

When we arrived at Hotel Luxia, a group of traveller's told us to turn around while we still had a chance. The man working the desk watched us walk in, then proceeded to ignore us and walked away. A main reason we picked Hotel Luxia was for it's free wifi, which was broken, making us spend our euros at a local internet shop. Then we tried to use the phone, and that was broken too. The breakfast in the morning was good and the room was clean. Other then those two things, I would not recommend this hotel

This is the perfect place to stay if you are thinking to travel to Paris for a few days. we stayed in one of their double rooms for 4 nights. i cannot think of a better place to stay in Paris if you are not willing to spend a lot of money. The location is great, just at the foot of the Sacre Coeur, in the area of Montmartre, which definitely is worthy of a visit. The closest metro station is just 5 minutes walk. The room was quite clean, more than we expected. It is true that the walls are quite thin but this is not a excesively noisy place. People there are basically tourists, therefore the place is quite empty during the day and people normally sleep at night. In addition, they serve a continental breakfast in the morning, no luxuries, but enough to keep the stomach busy for a few hours. if you are looking for a cheap and well located place in Paris this is your hotel.

We stayed there for 5 nights, the room was a double bed ensuite. Excellent location, very close to the metro and the sacre coeur, in an area with nightlife. The room and the bathroom were clean but the walls are very thin so bring earplugs. The building is quite old, could use a renovation. Breakfast was included bread and croissant, coffee and tea (ended at 9.30). Overall it's a good place to stay if you don't want to spend a lot of money on accommodation.
