Hearty welcome to Akkarakkalam Memoirs – an exotic farmhouse presented as an excellent souvenir of the ancient Akkarakkalam family, with a tradition of 150 years.
Lodged in the ideal settings of a rustic background, Akkarakkalam Memoirs was handed over to its present 4th generation by a far-sighted visionary, K.C. Joseph Akkarakkalam.
It is an ancient two-storied house constructed with wood and bricks and is still maintained in memory of the golden era of this Ancient Syrian Christian family. It is now proudly presented to the world as an icon of age-old tradition and trust.
We have 5 heritage deluxe rooms, which are well appointed and equipped with modern facilities. Wardrobe for safe keeping, writing table and chairs are provided in each room, attached modern bathrooms with flowing hot water showers, television and AC.
The common areas are a dining hall, a visiting area, reading area, and a spacious garden overlooking the paddy and backwaters. There are additional facilities like internet access, cycles, fishing rods and a laundry service for guests staying more than a night.
