Great place for the price and location! We had no problems here. Rooms basic but clean. Easy to find. Accomodating when we wanted to change our booking. Stayed here twice even. Would recommend.

Honestly anyone who will stay at hotel Cecil will find the best of service. My friend and I arrived at Hotel Cecil about 10 at night and were met with very friendly staff. After the initial signing in etc we were also given a map of the beautiful Marrakech, which was soooo helpful. Everyday was so relaxed, always saying hello etc and had breakfast upstairs on the beautiful terrace. Lovely guy served breakfast, lots of bread, coissant, coffee , marmalade and also mint tea! what a start to the day. Also would just like to add that when we had to check out by twelve we were also allowed to keep bags in hotel till late afternoon till our flight time, which was an absolute blessing! Cannot recommend hotel Cecil highly!! Honestly guys, very lovely!! Hope you all enjoy your stay in the beautiful Marrakech as much as we did!! Thank you Hotel Cecil!!

The hotel was great value with a wonderful roof top terrace and nicely decorated rooms. However, when we first got to the hotel, the taxi driver stopped us off behind the hotel in a quiet alley way. Men approached us telling us they would take us to the hotel and being a young female, I was very intimidated because they wanted to take us through the alley ways.
The hotel once found is very easy to get to. If you're afraid of going into the alley ways at night the best way to get to the hotel is to go to the main square where the night markets are and near the pharmacy and resteraunts in the more quite area of the markets is an alley way and if you peer down it you can see the sign for Hotel Cecil.
The rooms are great but make sure you ask for two twin beds if you need it, otherwise they will give you a double bed. Also, the plumbing isn't very good so the worst part of the room was the smell.
If you can, definantly go on one of the tours offered by the hotel. I went on the 2 day 1 night tour into the sahara desert and that was well worth the money and not dodgy at all.
Hope you have a great stay!

The location ¡¡it´s the best"" only one minute to the Jemma ElFna place. The room are simply but funtional. I was stay in room number 23 (in the patio/groundfloor) have: two beds, one little table and tow chairs, ensuite whit shower. The cleanest are correct but in 3 days never clean the room. No have towels!! The people don´t speak too much english, he espeak french and arabian. If you find cheap hotel in Marrakech, Cecil hotel ist the best, but don´t wait luxury.
