The first thing is the smell, the room smelt really bad. There was an old carpet on the floor which I did not dare to step on barefooted. The wallpaper seamed to be coming of and the paint was flaking. The bed I slept on was broken. The bathroom was fairly clean. I would recommend spending a little more money to make your stay in Paris more of a joy.
We were pleasantly surprised on entering the room. It was neat and well maintained. There is no lift, but otherwise there are no complaints. The personnel were very friendly and accomodating. The location was perfect, very close to all the main touristic attractions, and the metro is close by to the hotel. Overall I would say, it was good value for money.
