so nice place, I lived there almost one week. the room, tolite are very clean. location is very good, near by metro and most important, just walk 10 min you can see many restraunte and bars. the staff is very friendly. if I go to paris again, I'll live here!!!

About Oops
Open since September 2007, Oops! Hostel is the first designer hostel in Paris and has been recommended by the prestigious Japanese design magazine Real Design. We were also rated among the top 10 in the world by the Guardian magazine in its December 2007 issue.
We have the most beautiful comfortable rooms with ensuite showers and toilets, free fresh linen, an elevator and air conditioning.
Our free breakfast buffet features coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice, bread and croissants.
We also have free Internet and Wi-fi, free tourist info and maps of Paris, a free storage room and a free safe deposit box, plus a smoke-free area. There's also an elevator and handicap access.
Our hostel is located in the middle of three villages: Mouffetard, Chinatown and the Latin Quarter area, known worldwide for its student life in the numerous cafés, bars, restaurants, parks and galleries. With the Metro stations Place d'Italie and Les Gobelins (Lines 6, 5 and 7) only a stone's throw away from our door, the rest of this fascinating city is yours to discover.
An information stand with brochures on everything you need to know is available and our staff are always willing to help you out with anything else you may need. Our friendly English-speaking staff will make you feel relaxed and at-home during your stay.

Conditions
Please note that we do not accept bookings for more than 7 people, if you are 8 people or more you need to contact bonjour@oops-paris.com. If you make a reservation for more than 7 people the cancellation policy is different, it is not 24 hours before but 2 month before and the deposit will be lost.
Payment is due upon arrival in cash or travellers' cheques only. We don't accept credit cards. Lock-out is from 11am to 4pm.
Please note that if you're booking for a few people we can't guarantee that you'll all be put into the same room, but we'll do our best to accommodate you as best we can.

We were six girlfriends, we stayed in a room for 6. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom clean.The breakfast was more than enough and the location perfect! I will definetely use it again if staying in Paris.

The breakfast room was way too small for everyone to fit in.
The rooms and bathrooms were okay.
We had a some trouble regarding the room we booked. We booked a room for six but when we arrived they told us there was none. We got a room for four and two of us had to sleep with two other people. We didn't make a fuzz about it but still, they shouldn't have overbooked.
The Wifi didn't work most of the time.

The facility was very nice and clean but so cramped! The 4 person dorm could barely fit 2 of us inside at once. The bathroom was extremely clean and attached to the room which was nice. The staff was not very helpful with any of our questions, did not seem to want to help us, and gave the same speech of "forgetting to mention" that everything must be paid in cash to each guest. While it was once rated as one of the top 10 hostels in the world, I must say I would not stay here again. The breakfast room, the dorms, all just way too small!

The hostel is pretty far away from the main sites, but you can easily reach them by metro.
There´s no fridge to keep food or kitchen to cook! Lots of families! Some of the staff was not very friendly.
