If you come by Kaohsiung MRT, at the Orange Line terminal station of Sizihwan(O1),

please come out on exit 1 and take Lian-Hai Rd towards the mountain or Sun Yat-sen university.

After two traffic lights you will see the cross road of Gubo street where you should take a right.

You will then find us on 58-2 Gubo street after around 50m.

Reaching Kaohsiung:

-Bullet Train-

The high speed train (300+km/h) now brings you from Taipei to Kaohsiung in 96 min (stopping only in Tai-Zhong) at a reasonable price. (NT$965/US$32/24euro on weekday evenings). From the HSR Kaohsiung Zuoying Station, the subway service can bring you in the Hamasen neighborhood in 30min.

-Bus-

From Taipei main station, there is 24h bus service leaving at every half hour. (every hour in late night) The cost varies from NT$400 to NT$700(US$13~23/10~17euro). The high-end bus service practically seats you on a huge couch with personal video entertainment. The bus ride generally takes around 5 hours.

The terminal bus station is as Kaohsiung Main Station where the subway connection to Hamasen takes about 20 min

Finding Metro at Kaohsiung Station:

Upon arrival at Kaohsiung Station, mind that there are two sides of the station. Please go to the FRONT side of the station. Take the stairs to ground level and walk out of the station. Right out of the station, you should see an entrance to the underground Metro station.
