We travelled with a group and booked 2 private rooms and a large room for 8 people. The private rooms are very nice and comfortable. Basic but clean and with private toilet and shower. The large room doesn't have real beds but matrasses on the ground which is a bit unconvient for older people.

We travelled with a group and booked 2 private rooms and a large room for 8 people. The private rooms are very nice and comfortable. Basic but clean and with private toilet and shower. The large room doesn't have real beds but matrasses on the ground which is a bit unconvient for older people. Another thing to mention is that there are not enough toilets and showers. The location however is perfect, it's clean and safe and also the staff is very polite. If you travel on a budget and you don't mind basic facilities this is the right place.

The man who works at Aslan is super nice. He's the best asset of the place.
The WORST part, by far, is the OWNER. Sleazy businessman extraordinaire! DO NOT sign up for any of his tours. He totally ripped us off. We arranged to go to Harran and several sights around Harran for 100 L for the car. Then he took us to Harran and sat and talked with a local man while we looked around. Then when I asked if we were going to the next sight, he said we'd already spent all the 100 L on petrol (45 km to Harran!) and that we wouldn't be going anywhere else. We argued with him, but there wasn't much we could do. His tour company is called Nemrut Dagi, I believe. So even if you stay somewhere else, avoid this company.
The room was comfortable, although quite cold in the winter. The owner is trying to cram far too many people into the space and is planning to add more rooms. It wasn't full when we were there, but if had been more people, the bathrooms and definitely the hot water would have been inadequate.
The description of a 'fully restored' and 'elegant' house is not quite accurate. Basically, it's a bunch of cinderblocks painted white. It's not bad, but don't expect anything special.
One more little anecdote about the owner: he wanted to round up our fee for the hotel to 'make it easier'!
The owner of Aslan Guest House asked that we post his reply:
