Photos Facilities Map Streetview Reviews

Situated in the very heart of Pisa, the Bed and Breakfast (and More...) Ponte di Mezzo overlooks the River Arno and Piazza Garibaldi in Pisa, providing a perfect base for those who want to explore the town and enjoy its effervescent nightlife.

From its windows you will be enraptured by one of the most enchanting landscapes in Tuscany, gazing the river Arno making its way under the bridges towards the sea. The included breakfast will be served right at the ground floor of the same building at the Music Pub and Lunch Cafe Bazeel, which is renown as one of the coolest bar in town.

The B&B is located in the heart of the ancient central 'borghi', just at a walking distance from the railway station (approximately 10 minutes), and 15 minutes from Pisa Leaning Tower and all the other most celebrated monuments.

It offers two large double rooms (also as single rooms), one triple room and a quadruple room (also as quintuple room). The included breakfast will be served right at the ground floor of the same building at the Music Pub and Lunch Cafe Bazeel, which is renown as one of the coolest bar in town.

The owners will provide you with wealth of suggestion on getting the best out of your stay in town, for a full appreciation of its history and people, to enjoy the open market day and the shops, the Late-Night Happy Hour, the restaurants and Bars.

The B&B is in the top second floor of an old Italian Palazzo (sixteenth century) in the main City square, Piazza Garibaldi. It has been fully refurbished and restored in April 2010, in order to harmonize the ancient floors and ceilings with modern furniture, and offer modern facilities to our guests, such as air-conditioning, cable TV and wi-fi. This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Just returned from a 2 night/3 day stay in Pisa staying at the Ponte Di Mezzo B&B. Very happy with accommodation, location is very central and has beautiful views over the river. Room was very large and spacious with tv, sofa, large bed, cupboards, aircon and a balconette looking over the river (not an actually balcony). Our room was cleaned briefly again in the morning and bed remade. 2 Shared bathrooms are fine, hot water, clean and facilities such as hair dryer available.
Breakfast downstairs either in the bar or outside by the bridge watching the world go by. Choice of yogurts, flavoured milk, a large selection of pastries and coffee or tea. In the evening you are welcomed to join in the 'apperitifi', in which you buy a drink (approx 4 euros) and help yourself to various dishes of food, eg: pasta, pizza, polenta, foccacia for as long as you wish. This draws in the local students to the bar and is a fantastic place to start your evening.

Staff friendly enough, very helpful when asked about local info. A busy bar in the evenings but in the daytime staff always happy to help. We were able to store our luggage there when we arrived at 10.am until check in at 2pm.

Evenings fairly noisy as bar popular with the local students, however aircon provided in the room so when you close your balcony doors is not much of a problem.
We based ourselves here and did day trips by train (10/15 mins walk away) to Florence and Lucca.
Would totally recommend if looking for a central place to stay for a few days, however if you're looking for a period of a week maybe not just due to business of area and night life.
