Art Hole Hostel is a 10-minute walk from the main train and bus stations. Public transport from the airport to our hostel costs only 32 Czech Crowns: Bus 119 and Tram 26 brings you all the way. Easy! We can arrange cheap airport taxis if you prefer.

WE’RE NOT A PARTY HOSTEL. Inside the hostel we offer colourful days and peaceful nights, because sleep is part of the deal too. Feel at home here. Go out for nightlife: the pubs and clubs begin at the end of our street.

SORRY, BUT we are not the place for children, nor pets, nor people older than me (34), Trust me, Older People, you will not like it. I don’t like it.

PLEASE DON’T think of us a cheap hotel. ART HOLE is a TRADITIONAL YOUTH HOSTEL... If you need a hotel environment with lots of bathrooms there are plenty of cheap hotels in Prague. Write to us and we’ll direct you to the good ones.

We do not accept big groups nor stag parties.

This streetview shown above is from 2010 and is not true now. The building opposite our hostel, now in 2013, is newly restored and freshly painted. Next to it is a new mini market open till midnight.

1. DIRECTIONS from AIRPORT»

Outside the airport terminal building > Take Bus 119 to the final stop, DEJVICKA. Then, cross to the tram stop in the middle of the road and get on TRAM 26 going in the same direction as the bus was, to the stop called DLOUHA TRIDA (1st stop across the river). Continue away from the river along REVOLUCNI street and our street SOUKENICKA is 100meters further, 2nd turning on the left, and Art Hole Hostel is 200m down, on the right.

NIGHT Airport Bus 510 & Night Tram 51 - run throughout the night every 30 minutes, to and from the airport = 32 Czech Crowns.

Same route as the day plan, BUT get off the bus at DIVOKA SARKA stop, and run across the road to the waiting tram.

OR» Our AIRPORT TAXI SERVICE can collect you and up to 3 friends all for 550 Czech Crowns or 22 Euros. We'll arrange it and you pay the driver, upon delivery.

2. DIRECTIONS from the MAIN TRAIN STATION "HLAVNI NADRAZI" >

Take the main exit out into the park and walk straight forward to the road in front. Walk left for a few meters until you see the street JERUZALEMSKA leading off away from the station. Walk right to the end of that street until you join JINDRISSKA street, and follow the tram tracks to the right. When the tracks divide after 100m, follow the tram track left, and follow this tram track all the way along DLAZDENA street and beyond, until the tracks divide again. When they do, follow neither - walk straight ahead - down ZLATNICKA Street to the end. Continue in the same direction and walk straight across the square you come to. Now you are in our street SOUKENICKA, and ART HOLE HOSTEL is 100m to the left, and on the left of the street.

OR» Take tram 5 or 26 heading left for 3 stops to Dlouha Trida and our street is just ahead on your right and we are 200meters down SOUKENICKA street on the right.

DIRECTIONS from the MAIN BUS STATION >

Walk out onto KRIZIKOVA street, walk left, go under the road bridge then turn right. Walk down and straight across the crossroads and continue along TESNOV street and turn left when you reach the abandoned big green building.

Walk straight along PETRSKA street until you come to PETRSKA SQUARE (NAMESTI) with ALFORNO PIZZERIA on your right as you enter the square. Walk diagonally across the square and you will be in our street SOUKENICKA, and ART HOLE HOSTEL is 100m further down, on the left.
