Essaouira is well known for its international festival of Gnawa music, its craft industry offering a range of products reflecting the Moroccan culture through a simple and attracting style of life, its historical monuments recalling the interest of ancient civilizations for this city.

Deciding to visit Morocco and more specifically Essaouira city; well known for its calm, beaches, Argan trees (argania Spinoza) and its great walls who gave it the name “Al Souirah”, meaning the little castle, you will discover the marvelous architecture called Riads.

So do not hesitate to penetrate the heart of this city where you will find our Riad Dar Assalama. Few minutes from the souks and the beach, Located in one of the quietest streets of Essaouira, where Dar Assalama will charm you. This Riad is entirely based on the Moroccan traditional architecture.

On the ground floor you will be welcomed in a patio surrounded by Moroccan lounges with a fireplace, a large dining room as well as a well equipped kitchen and a washroom.

Two rooms on the first floor: the Emerald and the Amber, as well as a suite: the Ruby.

On the second floor Sapphire and Topaz are waiting for you as well as the suite Tourmaline.

All rooms are equipped with bathrooms in Zellige and Tadellakt with a shower, basin and suspended toilet.

On the terrace you can largely take advantage of the sun whilst admiring Essaouira port and beach.

In order to reach the destination, you need to follow these instructions.

If you’re coming by bus, you need to get off at Gare Routiere. From here, you need to head westwards along Rue Laalouj, until you meet the main road. At the main road you need to turn left and walk until you reach the first junction. You need to go straight ahead onto Avenue de L'Istiqlal until you reach Rue d'Agadir. Turn left at Rue d'Agadir and continue until you reach the destination.

If you're coming from Essaouira Mogador Airport, by car, you need to get on the N1 and head north towards the city of Essaouira. When you reach the first junction, the N1 splits, you must go left in order to reach Essaouira. After, you must turn left and head along Avenue el Aqouasse then turn right at Avenue Lalla Aicha. Take the first left, Rue Moulay Youssef, and then you must turn left again at Avenue de L'Istiqlal. Continue along Avenue de L'Istiqlal until you reach Rue d'Agadir. Turn right at Rue d'Agadir and continue until you reach the destination.
