Ideally located only 22 minutes (by tram 24/7) from the historical city centre of Berlin, the Hotel Kolumbus provides you with modern and attractive accommodation at reasonable prices.

The rooms are basic but for the price it's what you'd expect.There was six of us and we were all happy with cleanliness, hot showers and generous breakfast buffet. unfortunaltely it's very cold in Berlin at the moment and we couldn't bare to walk to the Ubahn station and wait for trains so we got taxi's which turned out to be €30.00 to the shopping district.

Good Breakfast...BUT TOO FAR FROM BERLIN in the winter. Easily accessible to public transportation, but you have to take a tram and then the underground to get anywhere, at least 30 minute commute. I would have paid $20 more a night to be closer.

Large clean modern hotel with friendly staff on eastern side of city a couple of miles out of centre. Very good value.
