I stayed there with my mom for 3 days.
I am allergic to cat and I didn't know the owner had a cat so if knew about this I wouldn't have stayed here. I was sneezing the whole time because eventhough cat did not go in to the room, I think the cat was going into our room before we got there so the fur was all over the place.
In the review it said many things that Breakfast was great but actually it was very simple.
In the morning we got a thermo with coffee in it (not enough for two people, maybe one cup) and small milk bottle. two packaged croissant, and some packaged cookies. Also one big bottle of orange juice.
I wish that there was more variety, such as croissant, or maybe warm food, and bread but not packaged ones..
The room it self was pretty clean also bathroom was renovated and nice, but the shower took a while for the hot water to run. The shower was not so strong power and very weak (when water was coming out).
There was small tv with some dvds as well. WiFi worked perfect in the room and it wasn't very loud neighborhood which was nice.
I wished that I knew about the "cat" issue before.
Owner was very nice and friendly but their English is not very good so it might be hard to communicate if you dont speak Italian.
Vatican City Inn was Brilliant! Very clean, comfortable, luxurious and central - all the things you would want plus more. Our room had aluxurion bed and private bathroom with a Large showerhead. The room we stayed in would beat many 4 star hotels for a fraction of the price! The owner was very friendly, cheerful and welcoming - genuinely willing to help and extend his generosity.
He gave great recommendations with where to go and eat also! My boyfriend and I would definitely stay there again!
