All rooms are ensuite and we have beautiful single private rooms double bed private rooms twin rooms and some four person double/double rooms see the room photos to get a better idea of what we have to offer.
Airport Shuttle Vans depart approximately every 15 minutes from the upper level "Departures" area of the airport (upstairs from baggage claim). The cost varies from $8.00- $15.00 per person one way depending on which shuttle service is available. Advise the driver the name of our hotel for drop off. When departing The Nob Hill Hotel our front desk will arrange for Shuttle Vans to return you to the San Francisco Airport for $9 .
Taxis are available on the lower level "Arrivals" area of the airport (outside the baggage claim). Cost is approximately $40-$45 to downtown San Francisco.
Most major rental car agencies are located at the San Francisco Airport. If you will be using your car less than the duration of your stay, often you will be able to return your car at a near downtown location. Remember, parking in any city may be difficult. Make yourself aware of all local traffic laws to avoid
From the East - Oakland Bay Bridge(Highway 80 Westbound)
While on the upper deck of the Bay Bridge, take the first off-ramp in San Francisco from the right lane, Fremont Street. Turn left on Fremont and proceed 2 blocks to Howard Street. Turn left and go 4 blocks on Howard Street to 3rd Street, then turn right. Proceed on 3rd Street across Market Street where it will turn into Kearny Street. Follow Kearny Street 2 blocks, then turn left on Sutter Street. Go 6 blocks to Jones Street. Turn left on Jones Street, go 1 block and turn left on Post Street. The Fitzgerald Hotel is on the left (North) side, on Post between Jones and Taylor Streets.
From the North - Golden Gate Bridge
(Highway 101 Southbound)
Proceed across the Golden Gate Bridge (Highway 101 southbound)into San Francisco.
Take the Lombard Street exit and proceed on Lombard until Van Ness. Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue. Take Van Ness to Post. Turn left onto Post. The hotel is located at 620 Post on the left hand side between Jones and Taylor.
From the South Bay - San Francisco Airport
(Highway 101 Northbound, Highway 280 Northbound)
From Highway 101: take the Seventh Street turnoff onto Bryant Street and proceed 1 block to 6th Street. Turn left on 6th Street and go 5 blocks. Continue across Market Street onto Taylor Street. Proceed on Taylor Street 7 blocks to Sutter Street. Turn left on Sutter and go 1 block. Turn left on Jones and go 1 block to Post, then turn left. The Fitzgerald Hotel is on the left (North) side, on Post between Jones and Taylor Streets.
Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
