The Surfers Paradise YHA hostel is a great base for backpackers to explore the Gold Coast.

A stone's throw to the beach and with the hostel overlooking the marina, you can learn to surf, shop ‘till you drop, enjoy drinks at the downstairs pub or party 'til sunrise in town. Reception hours are from 8am - 9pm. Please call the reception during the day if you plan to arrive after 9pm.

The Surfers Paradise YHA has multishare dorm rooms, twin and double rooms available. Share bathrooms available with all linen and towels provided.

Bus: The hostel is 4 km to Surfers Paradise Transit Centre (main bus terminal).

Free shuttle bus from hostel to Surfers Paradise available for backpackers. Free pick ups daily at 09:20, 11:15, 14:10 and 16:20 (bookings essential).

Local bus: Take the #750 bus from Surfers Paradise Boulevard to Mariners Cove (10min).

Train: To Helensvale Station, from the station take the #715 local bus to within 20m of the hostel.

Plane: The hostel is located 20 km to Coolangatta Airport. Bus service to/from airport.
