The final price does not include the Guest Tax, which the city of Basel requires all guests to pay. The tax is CHF 3.50 per person per night. However, this pays for the Mobility Ticket, which allows guests to use the buses and trams inside of Basel for free during their stay.

The room is furnished with two incredibly comfortable single beds, Oriental carpets and three quilts depicting scenes from the Basel carnival (Fasnacht). A closet is also provided for your use. The bathroom, with bathtub and shower, is conveniently located few steps away from your room. We are located in a newly renovated building, centrally located in the St. Johann neighborhood. The guestroom is tastefully furnished and contains everything you will need for a comfortable stay. We are close to the Rhine and several tram lines, which can quickly take you to the center of Basel. We also invite you to enjoy the atmosphere of the neighborhood on our balcony.

From Airport: From Euro Airport take the number 50 Bus to Kannenfeldplatz. From Kannenfeldplatz walk down Mülhauserstrasse and turn right onto Davidsbodenstrasse. Walk until you reach Davidsbodenstrasse 8.

From Train Station: From Bahnof SBB take the tram number 1 to Kannenfeldplatz. From Kannenfeldplatz walk down Mülhauserstrasse and turn right onto Davidsbodenstrasse. Walk until you reach the Bed and Breakfast (D+R Marchese, Davidsbodenstrasse 8, and Basel.)

By Taxi: A taxi from Bahnhof SBB takes about 10 Minutes and should cost no more than 20 CHF.
