When I first arrived at Ollantaytambo, I could not find the hostal... but when I did, I was glad I had decided to stay there. I really liked the place, it was cute and relaxed. The owner is super friendly, she has pigtails and a soft spot for her pet cat. The bed was okay, and there was breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately I couldn't get the water heater to work, though I had similar luck in many of the hostals I stayed in throughout Peru :/

Overall I would definitely recommend it to someone who was looking for a budget place to stay in Ollantaytambo- it has a lot of character and is affordable :)

The Hostal Chaska Wasi is ideally located in the most historical and central area of Ollantaytambo within a walking distance to all major attractions, and interesting spots of Ollantaytambo, with a super transport network at Machu Pichu ( Train)

In a nice building, we invite our fellow travellers to relax in our m lounge, enjoy a film in the TV/DVD room, or read our books and surf our fast internet, in the reading lounge.

We appreciate the importance of clean facilities therefore we'll be cleaning all day long, making sure everything is spotless.

Our facilities include 10 Rooms with hot showers. common rooms (dinning room, Music lounge, TV/DVD area, reading lounge) and wi-fi.
