Off the beaten path and somewhat difficult to find if driving. German roads are not as well marked as in the U. S. and not being able to read the signs contributed to the difficulity. Room was small and no soap was provided, but the bed was fine and the breakfast was very good. Considering the price, it was a very good value.

About the Bed and Breakfast
* Our family-run Bed & Breakfast is situated in Falkensee, a town in the immediate vicinity of Berlin and Potsdam. The accommodation itself borders on a quiet and beautiful lake. Especially during the summer our guests really enjoy the Bed & Breakfast's garden and waterside.
* All rooms are appointed with private shower/WC, SAT-TV, free Wifi/ Internet access and equipment for self-catering.
* Besides the great location and the quality rooms, our good breakfast is another reason why guests repeatedly stay at the B&B.
* Next to German, we speak English, Russian and Bahasa Indonesia and are pleased to help all our guests with questions and problems.
Public Transport Connections
* You won't need a car during your stay at our Bed & Breakfast. There are direct public transport connections from Falkensee train station to Berlin, Potsdam and other regions.
* The fastest connection by train will only take 15 min to Berlin Centre and departs every hour. If needed, we offer you a free ride from and/or to Falkensee railway station every day.
* For a small extra charge we will also pick you up from Tegel or Schönefeld Airport and take you back there.

THE SETTING FOR THE BED AND BREAKFAST IS LOVELY. IT IS LOCATED IN A NICE, QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD BESIDE A CHARMING LAKE. THE LOCATION IS BETTER SUITED FOR SOMEONE WITH A VEHICLE ALTHOUGH THE OWNER VERY WILLINGLY TRANSPORTS GUESTS TO THE TRAIN STATION. IT REALLY IS A MINOR INCONVENIENCE.
BREAKFAST IS AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
Our host Bernd, was extremely hospitable and our experience began when Bernd very kindly picked us (family of 4) up at Tegel airport.
Our accommodation at Lakeside Bed and Breakfast - Pension Am See was very comfortable, with kitchenette, and shower/toilet en suite, as well as TV in our room. The setting next to the lake is perfect – peaceful and convenient to buses and trains. We often walked to the station when we wanted to go to Spandau and Berlin. There is an excellent bakery and 2 very good restaurants a short walk away. Our stay was so enjoyable, we extended our stay. I would strongly recommend Pension Am See as an excellent place to stay to anyone who is visiting Falkensee, Spandau or Berlin.
This was a fantastic and peacefull place to stay. Only wish that we could have had more time there. Good breakfast and the owner is nice and helpful.
The Bed and Breakfast is a little bit outside of Berlin. By train it took us 20 min to the center of Berlin. The owner picked us up from the railway station and got us there.... very kindful. We went sightseeing in Berlin and Potsdam and really enjoyed it to relax at this place afterwards.

1. Let us have your time of arrival at Berlin-Tegel Airport/ or at Falkensee Bahnhof station.
2. Buy an ABC ticket
3. Take the bus X9 to Zoologischer Garten. Get off at Jungfernheide Bhf station. Take the train 'RE 4' on platform 4. The train leaves roughly at 27 minutes past each full hour.
4. Get off the train at Falkensee Bahnhof station and wait for us. We'll meet you there.

1. Let us have your time of arrival at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport/ or Falkensee Bahnhof station.
2. Buy an ABC ticket and take the train 'RB 14' (Airport Express) to Nauen on platform 4 (the train leaves roughly 10 minutes before each hour).
3. Get off the train at Falkensee Bahnhof station and wait for us. We'll meet you at the station.

4. Get off the train at Falkensee Bahnhof station and wait for us. We'll meet you there.
