This is a Trusted Review. Why?
best location in dublin , great place for night life, good value for money, great food at very low price at 'Apache pizza, friendly staff, free internet,
Facilities could improve, not much fun
-The location is very good and there is a discount on Apache Pizza which is excellent pizza.
-The bathrooms are very unsanitary and the some showers and sinks are clogged. Often while taking a shower, one must stand in dirty water.
-Many people who stay here use the bathroom as a smoking room, which is illegal in Ireland.
-Fire alarms go off regularly in the hostel.
-Presently it is very cold in Dublin as winter is coming on. According to the manager the heaters are not on for economic reasons. My room feels like a refrigerator.
-There have been book keeping mistakes and I have been over charged.
-There are no "self catering facilities" like the website claims.
I hope this honest account of my experience helps other hostel goers to make informed choices.
