Fabian\'s Cozy Little Sunshine Hostel
we offer you:
*** 24 hours free WiFi / W-LAN (wireless Internet) and limited Internet-terminal use
*** 24 hours free use of the fully equipped guest kitchen (microwave with hot air grill, inductive hot plates and refrigerator with freeer)
*** 24 hours access to the hostel, with own key (for a 20 Euro key-deposit!),
so there is of course no lock-out!
*** laundry & dryer SERVICE (up to 5 pieces are for free)
*** cozy individual metal beds, no bunk-beds at all!
*** the beds will be already prepared for you, with fresh bed linen and bed sheets, the bed linen fee is 3 Euro per person and stay
*** limited check-in times (arrival-times) from 9 o-clock in the morning until midnight only!
We will wait for you at least until one hour after your given arrival time, which you have chose in your booking.
After 2 hours we cance your booking and charge the first night as no show.
*** check-out times from 9 o-clock until 12 o-clock (noon)., but if you want to check-out before 9 am, no problem, make an appointment for the night before, to give your keys back and to receive your deposit again.
*** fresh air & silence, free of smoke, drugs/dope and TV
*** towels are provided for 1 euro
*** hair dryers are already provided for free in every bathroom
*** iron and iron board are provided for free (on request)
*** a few security lockers in the dormitory and padlocks are provided (on request)
*** city maps for 50 cents

*** little ongoing art exhibition inside the Hostel

*** when you are coming with your car to Berlin, get yourself for only 5 Euro a green Feinstaubplakette (sticker for you car) for the Umweltzone (environmental zone)
*** this hostel is perfect for single travellers, couples or little groups up to 4 persons (Bookings of more people or bigger groups are not really welcome!)
People from all over the world, all kind of nations and ethnics and especially friends are welcome, as well as eccentrics, Buddhists & Hindus, Jews & Muslims, Christians & Atheists all are welcome, also Vegetarians & Vegans, Philosophers, Musicians & Artists, Magicians & Witches, but vampires not any more.
And at least explorers of Berlin\'s history, culture & night life and of course students of the German language, the nearest \'Volkshochschule\' is around the corner!
Music instruments, little children and also dogs or cats are welcome (with dogs or cats a private room booking is required), playing musicians get a free drink and music playing dogs a bone ;-)

Our intention is to offer for our guests a friendly and multi-cultural atmosphere like at home, just to relax and enjoy Berlin by day and also at night, alone or together, with the chance of meeting interesting other people and colourful characters from all over the world, as well with a taste of shared living in a \'Wohngemeinschaft\' (share-flat / house) of nice and uncomplicated people.

Fabian\'s Bella Etage is a small & cozy family like hostel, founded in 2007, with a relaxed personal atmosphere and nostalgic & antique decorations. It\'s has just a few double- and one single-room and also two medium dormitory, all with a big common bathroom and also a little privacy one
and of course the common kitchen.

The Hostel is located in the 1st level, the Bella Etage� of a historic corner house.
In the Kaiser\'s time the houses was residence of Prussian army officers, with a view to the Great Parade Avenue, called Alt-Moabit which is our street. From here you can see all demonstrations, parades and the marathons.
Berlin-Mitte district, is one of the 12 independent district within Berlin state, it\'s the most central district, once divided by the famous Berlin wall.
Tiergarten (deer-garden) is in the western part of it, with our quarter Moabit, founded by French protestant refugees in 1688, named after Mont Moab, a desert location in the holy bible, transformed into a paradise.
This days it\'s a very lively multi-cultural quarter, with a lot of students, artists, workers & middle-class as well as diplomats and German goverment officals, mixed with a lot of people with foreign background, from most from Turkey, Greece, Vietnam, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Russian, Poland, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Australia & Argentina.
Many of our former guests found apartments in the neighbourhood and still stay in contact with me after years.
So welcome to Berlin and have a nice time and stay with us.

Conditions
General conditions & check-in times (Please read this, to avoid trouble.)
§1) No smoking inside the hostel nowhere! So only outside on street.
§2) Payment: We take cash or Gold only! Sorry, NO Credit-cards!
All booked days have to be paid in advance.
You have to pay in cash the full amount of your booking on arrival, plus
a key deposit of 20 €
ATMs / bank machines / cash terminals are everywhere, at stations, air-ports and also near from us, at Alt-Moabit 82 in a 'Volksbank' branch, on the next street corner!
§3) Please be so kind to make sure you mentioned your proper arrival-time, because check-in is by appointment only. This is, because we are a small hostel, with just a few arrivals every day, so we just want to be in and not shopping for example if there is an arrival of someone.
In case you forgot to chose your arrival-time, the default =automatic '11h' appears.
In that case, please send us an e-mail with your real arrival-time, or and sms or call.
CHECK-IN is between 9am / 9 o'clock until 12pm / 24 o'clock (midnight) possible only!
So choose your arrival time accordingly!
From your time of arrival on, we will wait for you for 1 hour.
In case you are late, please give us a call or send an sms.
Otherwise your booking might be cancelled and your bed get made available to booked by others.
Once you have checked in, you have 24 hours access with your own keys!
§4) No show will be charged with the first night by your credit card.
§5) No Refunds for booked and paid stays.
§6) Check out time is between 9am / 9 o'clock until 12am / 12 o'clock (noon)
early check-out : the night before until 12pm / 24 o'clock
late check out : until 20 pm, for an extra charge of half a day.
§7) Reception is open from 9am to midnight; please ring us before you arrive at the hostel to ensure someone is there to check you in. We are often away from the hostel.
Cash only, please. Credit cards are no accepted.
Check-out: noon. We charge one Euro per hour after that.
Check in is from 9am to midnight only. Please specify what time you will arrive when making your booking. We will only wait for you for one hour after this time. If you don't select an arrival time, the default is 11am and we will only wait for you until noon. If you think you'll be delayed, call or text us.
We charge a deposit of 20 Euro for the key.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. No shows and late cancellations will incur a charge of the first night's stay.
We only accept groups with a maximum of four people. Bookings of more than this shall be cancelled without a refund.
Towel rental: 1 Euro
Bed linen with pillows and blankets: 2 euro
Luggage storage: 2 Euro per person per day
Stored luggage and Lost & found articles we keep not longer than a month, food only for 1 day after your departure. After this date it goes in the garbage.
As well we do not guaranty for the content of luggage at all, except for taken cash against receipt.
Laundry service: 7 Euro
This is a smoke-free hostel. You may smoke in our lovely front garden which has benches to sit on.
Alcohol is only permitted in strictly limited quantities.
§8) Termination
The Hostels Staff reserve the right of enforcing anybody to Leave the Hostel immediately without prior Warning who is not respecting our Property
Guests or Staff and / or Violating the Law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Use , Preperation and Posession of any kind of Drugs inside anywhere in the Hostel.
Loud Disturbing Noise at Night after 10pm ( Music, Guitars )
No Open Fire anywhere, No Incence Sticks, No Smoking
Theft ( Guest Food, private property , Laundry etc.)
Destruction of Property
We reserve the right to make changes, amendments, modifications or cancellations, in whole or in part, of this policy without prior notice at any time.

Fabians correctly chose their name to reflect what kind of hostel they want to be: not too sophisticated, but very hospitable, friendly and they make you feel at home, are truly interested in your well-being.
No doors (except for the front door) are locked, but the atmosphere makes you forget about the possibility to abuse that fact.
The bath facilities are still being improved. My suggestion would be to give priority to curtains on the windows as well (or first).
