The Lodge is within walking distance of the Art Nevoux Theatre, Cinemas, Art & Culture Galleries, Shopping Centers, bars, Clubs and all means of transport.

Rosebank Lodge & Backpacker is our latest creation to become Part of The Lodge & Backpacker Johannesburg Group.

We have had the pleasure of servicing our travellers for more than 9 yrs.

Just opened the doors on June the 1st had some teething problems, getting the staff and management up to speed to deal with the enormous volumes of people that arrived at the beginning of the soccer World Cup, all is now up to the same service and quality as our other Lodges in the Group.

Rosebank is a very old suburb the ancient flora makes you feel welcome and chilled, spend time on our patio looking over our garden with it's 100 + year old trees, enjoying late afternoons there, where you can join other travellers for a drink or maybe you can Braai (BBQ) something to eat, you will find just about everything you'd need here from, a tour and travel desk to an outdoor terrace to soak up the rays. Novels can be exchanged, a communal kitchen is open to all, telephone, fax, wi-fi and internet access will allow guests to hook up on line.

Our laundry facilities are on hand - for all those folk who have just come off of safari.

Rooms/dorms are provided with clean, fresh linen; all beds have plush duvets for added warmth.

Due to this being a new Lodging we are still working on finding it, its own unique attitude, atmosphere and feel. This is the same way our customers helped create our other lodges; your support in this transformation would be greatly appreciated.

From the Bus Station / Train station:

Get on to Wolmarans Street outside the Bus Station and head west. Take a right at De Beer and then a Left at De Korte (This will be the 2nd road you can turn left). Next road take a right and this will change to Jan Smuts Ave. Stay on Jan Smuts for +/- 8Km

The up-market Gautrain station will connect travelers from the airport to Rosebank, or Twshane (formerly Pretoria). This will also be linked to all the soccer stadiums for the 2010 World Cup Soccer. This is an easy collection point for any travelers wanting to stay at Accoustix - a warm, homely and inviting environment, where the buzz happens and everyone is welcome.

From the airport:

When leaving the airport takes the R24 and head towards Johannesburg, this will change to the N12.

Take the N3 North (Sign will say Pretoria). Follow N3 for +/- 10Km and then follow the signs that say the N1 to Bloemfontein. Take the William Nicole off-ramp. Turn left once off the freeway and stay on William Nicole stay left at Hyde Park corner travel for +/- 4Km. And you will see us on your right hand side
