Hostel Am Rheinauhafen, Cologne, is situated in the city center, directly at the river Rhine. Several rooms have a direct Rhine view. All sights of Cologne can be visited within a foot walk.

Every hostel room has a sink and a wardrobe, dorms have lockers, and the whole hostel is a non-smoking area except our bar. In our bar every week, we have musical events with DJs and specials. During German Soccer Federal League games, you have the chance to experience the atmosphere of a traditional German football fan club in our bar.

Payment:

The payment must be done on arrival in cash or transferred into our account in advance. We do not accept credit cards.

We take a key deposit of 20 Euros (for the room key) and give it back to you on your departure.

Breakfast is not included in the room price but is available at the price of 5 Euros.

Check-in and check-out:

Check-in from 2.00 p.m. of the arrival day

Check-out: until 11.00 a.m. of the departure day

If you check-in or check-out between 00.00 a.m. and 08.00 a.m. please inform the reception in advance to check the possibility to check-in or our at this time

The reception is open:

8:00 a.m - 12:00 a.m.

14:00 - 22:00 from Monday till Thursday and till 23:00 on Friday and Saturdays

What else is there:

The part of the hostel is the Green-Bar which is open in the evening to everybody. Here you can have breakfast, watch TV or listen to the music and meet friends. Our reception is also there.

The hostel and the bar are non-smoker area.

Important:

If a hostel guest violates the house order through disturbing other guests, noise at the night time,

excessive alcohol consumption or the like he/she will be urged to leave the hostel immediately without re-funding for the already paid nights

From the airport to main station (Hauptbahnhof) there is a train every 20 minutes. Price - about 3 euros.

Leaving the main station pass the Dome (famous Cathedral of Cologne) and walk along the Rhine promenade so that the river is on your left. After 8-10 minutes walking cross the street at your right. We are here next to the hotel "Allegro".

Going by taxi will cost 6-7 euros, and you can come as 4-5 people in one car.
