It take 40 minutes to drive to Jambiani village.
You can easily find a taxi to take you to Jambiani village for US$48 or if you have already spent some nights in Zanzibar town,you can arrange a sharing mini bus to Jambiani village for US$12 per person or You catch a local bus at Darajani area in Zanzibar town to Jambiani , Buses number 309, it cost US$3 per person , Other alternative We can arrange transport for our guests at anytime on their arrival from Port/Airport/Zanzibar Town whenever needed for just US$48.

The location is great, just in the beach, in a very quiet place....just for relaxing!However, we didn't have water in the tap and shower (only salty water) during the first 4 days. As we've been told it was a problem for all the village. We had to shower with drinking water!
The service in the restaurant was great!Good food and nice staff!!
It's a very nice place to stay really, if you go in low season, don' book in advance. If you do it personally there is 35 dollars per night.

To start off with, the pictures and description are misleading. The property is definitely not up to the standard that is portrayed on the web. Secondly, upon arrival the manager was not aware of our booking, and did not understand our confirmation mail. He had to consult with the owner to work out how to proceed. We subsequently visited reception on three occasions to look for the manager, and there was nobody available. Later, he came to look for us in our bungalow and very aggressively and rudely demanded IMMEDIATE payment. This, after we went looking for him on three different occasions. His "excuse" was that the owner was leaving for Stonetown and demanded immediate payment. During our stay, we never had any hot water neither was the room serviced or cleaned once. We had a small, threadbare towel for the two of us, that was never changed. The manager continued with his rude and aggressive behavior for our entire stay. We checked out after two days and checked into Jambiani White Sands next door, where we had excellent and friendly service, better facilities and at 75% of the cost of Shehe. The only redeeming factor in Shehe was the friendly service and excellent food from the chef, Bomba. However any interaction with Bomba would always be interrupted by the sullen, unfriendly and aggressive manager, who saw it as a challenge to his little empire. We wont be back.
