Regarding the facilities they have a pool table and a cafe, nice garden and a small swimming pool.

About Pakachi Beach Resort
Welcome to Pakachi Beach Resort, it is situated on the southeast coast of the island of Zanzibar. The Resort is a newly refurbished tropical garden hotel with private beach, swimming pool, an experimental spice farm, swimming pool and wellness and well known restaurant with a big BBQ area. The combination between European management and local participation is providing a well organized tropical feeling and the ideal place to relax from business life.
The Resort is built in the local style and integrated into the tropical garden of the 3 ha property. A variety of bungalows provide the right atmosphere for different priorities and tastes. Double story bandas directly at the beach with an open bedroom towards the ocean will give you kind of Robinson Crusoe feeling, while other bungalows situated between the tropical plants and the swimming pool provide an all green and flowery surrounding just a few yards away from the beach. An own small experimental spice farm allow the guests to get some impressions of the old spice island and the swimming pool and wellness facility is directly adjacent to the spice garden, also using products of the plants therein. The well known Pakachi Grill Restaurant on a cliff above the ocean serves local and also typical barbeque dishes. The combination between European management and local participation is providing a well organised tropical feeling and the ideal place to relax from business life.

When you come from Stonetown head to Paje on the east coast. We are the first plot in Jambiani coming from Paje. It is exactly 3 kilometers after the roundabout from Paje.

If cancelled from 30 to 15 days prior to arrival, 50% of the booking will be charged.

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 60 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.

This is a place where you get referred to by your skin colour. Point in case was getting a receipt during checkout with the title "black people." My girlfriend and i were actually called "black" at some point by the employees at the resort when food was to be delivered at our table. May be a case of being used to tourists from the Western world but its no excuse in this day and age.
The only thing good about the resort was the location, its a quiet environment and right at the beach.
Food was bad and most of the items on the menu were missing. They also lacked fruits most of the time yet fresh fruits were readily available in the local market.
They can surely do better.

Very beatiful hotel at the beach including a very tasty breakfast. Very nice and clean bungalows, with warm water and fan. A small pool, that is very good bescuse the tide water makes it impossible to swim the most part of the day. The staff is very helpful and nice. Try to do their best to help you with whatever you need. They organize trips. The food is very good.

Sulieman the manager went out of his way to make sure that I was well taken care of - all the staff were friendly and sweet.
The huts are incredible and the view is amazing - very relaxing and peaceful.
