Central, reasonable and with the typical MEININGER-atmosphere our MEININGER Cologne is the perfect spot for exploring Germany´s capital of carnival!
The MEININGER Cologne is situated right in the campus area, a vibrant urban place with many shops, showcasing indie music, indie fashion, and a vintage shop with films from the glory days of cinema. During Carnival, the so-called fifth season of the year, it is recommended to book weeks ahead of time.

BOOKING FOR INDIVIDUAL TRAVELLERS
Your booked rooms are available from 3 pm on the day of arrival.
Child allowance:
Children under 6 years are free of charge.
50 % discount per child/night from 6 to 12 years on the booked room category
BOOKING FPR GROUPS OF 12 OR MORE
1. Bookings for groups of 12 or more: cancellations made by the guest respectively on the part of the intermediary person or organisation are free of charge up to 60 days before expected arrival. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to arrival, the following cancellation fees apply; these fees also apply for bookings made within 60 days of expected arrival:
a) For cancellations made 59 to 30 days before expected arrival, 30 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due.
b) For cancellations made 29 to 10 days before expected arrival, 50 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due.
c) For cancellations made 9 to 1 day(s) before expected arrival, 90 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due.
d) Guests who either cancel on the day of their expected arrival or simply do not show up will be charged the agreed-upon
total price in full.
Above cancellation conditions also apply if the number of persons is reduced at least 10 per cent within this period of time. A
reduction of less than 10 per cent is free of charge until 1 day prior to arrival.
2. Booked meals can be cancelled free of charge until 8 days prior to arrival. Thereafter, a cancellation fee of 100 per cent of the
agreed-upon total price applies.

DIRECTIONS The fastest way to find us
Closest station: Rudolfplatz
From Main Station
- Take the U16 or U18 to Neumarkt (4 minutes) and change into the tram line 1 or 7 (toward Weiden).
- Get off at Rudolfplatz (2 minutes) and walk in the direction of traffic. Turn left into Habsburgerring.
- Follow the street in direction Zülpicher Platz until you reach the Lindenstraße on the right hand side. Here you turn right.
- After 50m you turn left into the Engelbertstraße.
- After another 50m you can see our MEININGER on the right hand side.
From Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN)
- Take the S-bahn line S13 (toward Köln-Hansaring) and change into the U15 (toward Köln-Übierring) or U12 (toward Zollstock).
- Get off at Rudolfplatz and take the Habsburgerring exit. (20 minutes)
- Follow the street Habsburgerring in direction Zülpicher Platz until you reach the Lindenstraße on the right hand side. Here you turn right.
- After 50m you turn left into the Engelbertstraße.
- After another 50m you can see our MEININGER on the right hand side.
