About Lollis Homestay

It goes without saying that a hostel needs to be a safe, clean and affordable accomodation for the independent traveler. But in addition to that, we truly believe a hostel should create a social atmosphere. It should be easy to meet new people and to share your travel stories with others.

The cozy common room at Lollis Homestay offers exactly this opportunity with a seperate area for laptop-addicts. To help keep things mixed, we refuse groups larger then 10 people. We also offer a free dinner every Sunday and Wednesday evening to help 'break the ice'. Every Monday we offer a free barbecue; we have the hot grill, you bring your food. On Tuesdays you may join our free German lesson. And on Thursday nights our Nightwalk will introduce you to the bars and clubs, and the ins and outs of our little bohemian quarter. It's an informative pub crawl, 3 drinks are included, and there's loads of info about our side of the river.

We know most traveler's have a tight budget, so we do our best to help you save some bucks. Here at Lollis Homestay WiFi is free and we provide laptops for those without. We offer free bicycles (they're old but roadworthy), free walking tours, and have a completely equipped guest kitchen where you can do your own cooking while snagging some free tea and coffee. Our worldly and friendly receptionists are here 24 hours a day to give you comprehensive information about our city and tips about how to get to your next travel destination.

We offer all kinds of individually decorated rooms in all sizes and prices. Our 8 bed dorm is the most affordable, and we also have smaller dorms and private rooms like singles, doubles, and triples. We provide lockers and locks for those staying in the dorms.

The hostel is located in the heart of the Neustadt, which is the nightlife district of the city, full of bars, clubs and pedestrian life. It's about 15 minutes from the Neustadt train station and a short ride by tram to the main train station. The historic part of Dresden with all the famous baroque sights is within walking distance. The old city settles down and empties in the evening, so at Lollis Homestay you'll be situated just right on the happening side of Dresden where the city never sleeps.

Please pay for your accommodation in cash on arrival. Visa- or Mastercard is also accepted, but please note that we have to charge 2,50 € extra for credit-card transactions.

If you didn't tell us any other arrival time, please make sure that you arrive before 6 pm. In case of a later arrival, please give us a call. In exceptional cases, arrivals after 11 pm are possible only by a special arrangement with us.
