Reasonably OK for a night or two, but for a longer stay go somewhere more modern.

Booked two nights in ArtDusseldorf. Instead of this hotel, as soon as I arrived, I was moved to another hotel further away from the railway station that was my reason for staying there. That happened without being asked or even informed before. I was just notified that i would stay in another hotel.
To cut a long story short, the only ok thing was the breakfast.

Very nice/pittoresque area, but MUCH noice from the street and some other guests.
One of the beds had an awful matress, the other two were fine.Perhaps it would be smart to have telephone number and adress on the reciept (printed from the internett booking)?
We had trouble finding the hotel since we hadn't checked the adress properly enough. Had to ask many taxi drivers before one knew approximately where it was. We ended up at the police station to ask for directions...Friendly staff.

We arrived at the hotel, checked in and were taken for a 5 minute walk away to a nearby apartment. The apartment hadn't been cleaned properly since the previous stay. We had booked a double room and when we entered we found a single bed and a pull out couch. The couch was difficult to assemble and there was no clean covers for the spare single duvet. The shower was nice, very powerful. Breakfast was superb, the best thing about the hotel. Too pricey for what was offered. Not overly friendly staff. Wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone.
