The close proximity of the hotel to the main train station is probably its best asset. That it is located off the main road is also a plus point, although there is a music bar just a few metres away whose noise can be bothersome if your room happens to face the bar, as mine did.
The standard of cleanliness is high and facililites in general are good. Staff are helpful and cordial, but without the personal friendliness of some guest houses or B&Bs I've stayed in.
