Welcome Traveller!
We are open since September 2008, so the paint is not wet anymore but everything still brand new, the house is built with style and design in a beautiful turn of the century building right in the centre of Frankfurt and it is run with a smile because we love what we are doing: Trying to provide that home away from home that was so hard to find in this business city. And we had a great response already you can read it in the comments and ratings - even though not everything was ready from the beginning on. (Thank You!)

And we can assure you that it is not dangerous, in fact most of our guests think it's rather funny, check the ratings.
IF You feel you could possibly feel offended insecure: take the HI-HOSTEL in Sachsenhausen, buy the membership card and enjoy the beautiful view on the river (it really is) and the 25 min. train ride from the Main Station.

I really liked this place. First and foremost I found the staff to be very friendly. The facilities were very good as was the cleanliness. With the special promotional price I paid for double and had my own room with en suite bathroom, which was luxurious by hostel standards (a bowl with small bottles of shampoo, soap and toothpaste -- AWESOME!!!).
Since I was actually visiting Frankfurt for a conference in the airport area, the hostel's 5 minute walk to the main train station with direct connection to the airport train station was utterly brilliant! In this case, being located in the middle of the RLD was not liability, and if I may make a suggestion, in my opinion the hostel doesn't have to incessantly apologise/warn guests of the location.

Conditions
1.) We are a Backpacker Hostel, not a group travel or business client budget Hotel. Thats why you can book maximum 5 persons with one booking. We will not honour Group bookings split into smaller chunks to get around that, and we reserve the right not to honour bookings of age groups younger than 18 and older than 45 years.
PLEASE DON'T - NO REFUNDS!!!
2.) the deposit and the booking fee that is charged when you book, is NOT refundable
3.) you can cancel your booking til 48h before arrival. If you cancel later or just don't show up we charge the first night.
We take a 4 Euro deposit for bedsheets and keycards you´ll get it back if you return both of the end of your stay.

Directions
From the Main Station:
- Walk out of the main entrance. Cross the road in front of you with the TRAM stop and enter into KAISERSTR. (pedestrian zone), take the 1st street (MOSELSTR) to the left. The hostel is right after the next crossing, No. 40
From Frankfurt Int. Airport:
- take the S-Bahn to the Main Station, then see above. Ticket 3,60 euros, takes 11 minutes
Airport Frankfurt Hahn: (ryanair)
- This airport is way out of Frankfurt!!! Flying directly to Frankfurt Int. Airport saves you a 1:45h Bus ride. Bohr goes every hour to Frankfurt Main station for 12 euros.
WARNING: The hostel is right in the REDLIGHT DISTRICT. Though we consider this rather amusing and not at all dangerous, you should not book with us if you feel uncomfortable with it - we want you to enjoy your stay with us. ;-)
