About Unawatuna Beach Bungalow
Our hotel name is Unawatuna Beach Bungalow Guest House. It has been a family-run business since 1995 featuring 10 clean rooms. The beach is only 15 metres away. Some of the rooms have a splendid sea-view.
Unawatuna Beach Bungalows is a warm and friendly family-run hotel that welcomes travellers from all over the world. We have a wealth of experience in the industry and know what travellers value and need during their stay. A restaurant, small well-kept garden and free internet service are at our customer's disposal. We are more than pleased to book trips and transfer to the airport or any other location on the island.

Location Information
The hotel is located 160 km south of Colombo at Unawatuna. This beach is about 10 or 15 minutes east from Galle and can easily be reached by bus or Tuktuk.
You can drive along the A2 southwards until you reach Unwatuna Beach. You need to continue until you reach Parangiyawattha Road and then take a right. After, you need to continue until you reach the destination.

I stayed at the Unawatuna Beach Bungalow for 7 days at the beginning of July 2011... I found the hotel to be ideal, it's situated within walking distance of the beach, local bars and restaurants... the accommodation is value for money, rooms and facilities are clean, comfortable and the staff extremely friendly. They provide a room service and if you wish to eat at the hotel they do breakfasts and also lunch.... in addition to this, they also cater for your transport needs, providing local tours, day trips and a transfer service too and from Columbo airport and the hotel.
This was my first time visiting Sri-Lanka and it will not be my last... a fabulous place, excellent weather, friendly locals and very, very cheap.... triple stars all round.... Andy Morley - Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom
