We were met by Laura at the Celestia vaporetto stop who walked us to the apartment. She was extremely friendly and welcoming. Beware if steps and g heavy suitcases is not your thing, as the apartment is up three flights of stairs, so if this is not going to work for you, choose somewhere else! We loved the neighbourhood, very quiet and safe and lots of locals. Away from the tourist hurly burly Laura gave us a map with recommended eateries and some shopping tips. Hugely helpful. The apartment looks out over a quiet canal and is charming and quirky. Comfortably furnished with an eat in kitchen, sitting room, bathroom and two bedrooms. Lots of Ikea plus quirky touches in the decoration. Be aware that the shower / bath is small and if balance is not your thing, or you are bigger, you may have difficulty, although it was ok for us (two adults, two teenagers). My teens were a bit self conscious about the window in the bathroom only having sheers, and the glass door to the bathroom, which is opaque, but I suspect this is a culture thing. They used it! Thank you Laura. We had a wonderful stay in Venice. We all loved coming "home" each day to our nest.

It's on a perfect location in town, especially to visit the biennale. Very close to the Arsenal. Appartment is in a quite neighbourhood, local shops, supermarkets etc nearby. It's big enough for 4 people, with a well equiped kitchen. Rosanna, who runs the agency, a kind and vivid personality, helpfull and accurate.
