We are located only 200m from the famous cappuccino strip and the Fremantle markets, where the entertainment never stops. Fremantle is home to many buskers and street performers that come from all over the country to juggle, sing, play instruments, breath fire and ride their unicycles! The markets are the best place in Perth to purchase locally produced crafts and there are loads of great restaurants where you can tuck in to food from all over the globe! We are walking distance to all the pubs and clubs in the area, so it couldn't be easier to pop out for a beer and a feed - no taxis or buses needed (and no curfew).

Pirates is truly a unique hostel. It is a small hostel that people constatntly say feels like a 'home away from home', or 'a big family'. We provide all the comforts of home to make your stay with us as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Vaughan, Linda, Yvonne and Charlie have all the information you will need to find the spots they don't list on the tourist maps. They will also find you jobs if required.

Pirates constantly holds activities like no other hostel, both within the hostel and without. The owner, Vaughan, is an energetic guy who will have you experiencing aspects of Perth you won't find in any other hostel.

We are friendly with many business owners in Fremantle, so take your room key out with you and you won't have to pay top dollar for food, beer, ferry tickets and entertainment.
