Location Information
How to reach us from the Railway Station:
Take Mall Road and follow the signs to Taj Mahal via Fatehabad Road. Turn left after Big Bazaar/ McDonald, and continues for about 3 blocks and then takes a left to Shilpgram VIP Road and East gate of Taj Mahal. We are located one building before Taj Plaza hotel. Ask anyone for hotel Rashmi and there you will see our board of Nirvana hostel.

The hostel staff was very nice and helpful, but thats about the only good thing I can say. First off getting to and from the hostel is not as easy as one may thing. Throughout my entire stay when i wanted an autorickshaw, i had to walk 5 to 10 mins down the road to the main road to catch one and not one driver actually new where this hostel was or had ever heard of it. Even when provided with local address, given by hostel, they still didn't know. While there the power kept turning off, which normally isn't that big a deal, unless it's night time and +30 with no AC or fan, which i had paid for!! The toilet didn't work, there was bugs and lizards in my room and no hot water. In general not the best hostel I've ever stayed at and I don't think I would recommend this place to my friends.
Our laptop was stolen from our bag in the hostels bag locker by one of the staff. A guy who stayed at same time also had $120 stolen from his bag.
Hostel advertised free wifi and there was none. They advertised various other things (beer with dinner etc) that were never given.
The hostel is not near the Taj as they advertise. It is about 25 - 30 minute walk. There are cheaper places much closer to the Taj.
