About WIRA Guesthouse

We love Hamburg , Wira- guesthouse located in the heart of Hamburg. Our location is very central (only 2 stations away from main central station) and a burger restaurant is next door to us. There are also many other restaurants and shops situated close to our guesthouse and there is a metro station beside the property, which is convenient if you wish to travel to other areas in the city.

We have large rooms, most of them with a lot of nice Asian decoration, which gives you the feeling that you are in Asia. We have other rooms who are decorated African Style and also rooms with the topic 'Europe'. So the name of a room is related to a special place on earth. All rooms are airy and spacious and have all the standard facilities you can expect. The rooms have one double bed or two double beds or one double bed and a single bed. For every 3 rooms we have one bathroom with bath and toilet. The facilities will be cleaned several times a day, so do not worry about shared bathrooms and toilets.

The triple-rooms have always one double bed and one single bed or 2 double beds (like the one on our main picture)

We have many facilities and services including internet access, travel information and many more. We will be happy to advise you on any must see attractions in the area.

Our main opening times for the reception: 8 a.m - 10 p.m.

Before you will arrive please tell us your approximate time of arrival. Our reception is not open for 24 hours yet, but we will do our best to be there for you when will arrive and when you will leave. We will always wait for you, promise :-)

ATTENTION: For those bookings without arrival time, we will wait until 18:00 o'clock, if no one checks in, then the booking is automatically cancelled !!! So If you are going to arrive late so please call us or send us an email 6 to 12 hours before the estimated arrival.

Generally check in is at 2 p.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m., but we are very flexible if you tell us your wishes before arrival. So please tell us in advance if you want to arrive very early or if you plan to stay for some more hours in our guesthouse and we will tell you if it is possible.

PAYMENT is possible with credit card or cash on arrival. There's an ATM within walking distance.

Key-deposit 50 Euro that you will receive back at checkout. You can always take your keys with you.

Luggage-storage in our property is possible up to 12 hous .

CANCELLATION must be done at least 48 hours before the arrival date via email. After this period (or if you fail to cancel) we will charge your credit card for the first night's stay.

Directions

Our guesthouse is located directly at the metro-station Lübecker Straße, line U3 and U1 (yellow line and blue line). Only 2 stations away from the main central station and you can reach all the main attractions of Hamburg very fast.

When you are at the airport, please take the express bus to the maintrain station 'Hauptbahnhof'.

At 'Hauptbahnhof' please get in the subway 'U3' (yellow line) to 'Lübecker Straße'.
Just when you arrive and leave the station 'Lübecker Straße' , you will see the burger restaurant 'Hollywood Canteen' on the other side of the street. Please use the underground way to across the streeet, which is on the left side of the exit of the subway station.
When you are in front of the restaurant, our guesthouse is in the neighbour building behind this burger restaurant.
At the first door of the building please ring the bell 'WIRA / Walgahn'
