This is a Trusted Review. Why?
The Anzac Backpackers is a rather strange but neat place. The rooms are above the pub of the hostel and the hostel itself is above a noisy café. When you enter the hostel you meet the owner: he seems to be not taking care, but in a way he really does: the hostel is neat but not cosy at all and the rooms are not decorated. It is really basic and it feels like you behave yourself in the underground milieu of Cape Town. But, once again, it is a neat place and the owner may seem to be a weird guy, but he is really strict and makes sure his hostel is a clean place.
The rooms and the showers are clean, the kitchen was ok, there is a computer with internet access and there is a big balcony.
If a sleeping place is the only thing you need, you should go there: it is not decorated, not cosy, but it is cheap and clean.
