Nice and cozy hostel located outside the city. Since I didn't come from the airport, I tried to use Google Maps to find the hostel which was a bad idea since the address does not correspond to Medellín but to La Estrella. If you need directions on how to get there (different from those already provided), call the hostel and they will tell you how to get there.
I think it's a nice place if you're looking for a retreat, but if you plan to get to know the city, ie. try different restaurants, enjoy night life etc., maybe what you need is a city-centered hostel.
It happened to me that I was traveling alone and they only cook dinner if there are three or more guests interested. It wasn't a huge problem but since I was on a short stay, I didn't get to try any of the fab food that was announced on the website.

Buddha is the best choice so far if you wanna go to Medellín, have a nice time meeting people and be treated like a old friend of the house. I spend 3 days in the Hostel, stayed in a private bedroom with a nice bed the first day, and then tried the shared rooms with 6 more people in the room, I think there's not enough place to put your stuff, but is something you can handle easy with the storage facility.
You'll have a nice entertainment room, beautiful surroundings, great bedroom mates and the best part of it for me was to be lucky enough and enjoy dinner with a guest chef from Spain, 10 dishes every night with a spectacular taste. I'm from Colombia and I was really surprised to find out I was the only one born in the country on the whole Hostel, I made great friends from other countries. In general I simply just loved it!
