This is a cozy guesthouse with a nice and friendly owner.
Cleanness of the floor in our room could be better, but overall it was good enough.
The hostal is very noisy, it is an old house.
When people come home in the middle of the night it will wake you up, so put earplugs in!
Kitchen is not very well utilised, but there is a microwave and it is very cosy to eat there.
Most nights I snugged up with the lovely fireplace with enough logs and coals to burn it.Magdalene

We are a self-catering Guesthouse.and are the best value in Kinsale.HOSTEL PRICES. Our friendly independent guesthouse is operatedby the owner, who is an Artist , and has transformed an old historic house into unique wonderful surroundings.We offer free Internet, Wi-Fi and Sky TV. Most rooms have en -suite bathrooms and open plan kitchenettes. Although we do not provide breakfast, our self-catering facilities are sufficient to cook your own. You could take your breakfast out to our lovely sun terrace , weather permitting.Our quiet residential street is only a few minutes walking distance to Kinsale town centre. This is an important historic house built circa 400 years ago to house the Officers of the Cork Garrison. The soldiers drew water from the well when they returned from the battlefield, and retired to their huts in the walled garden. The Historic Old Wall of Kinsale runs along the boundaries of the garden..
