About Merlin Lodge
MERLIN LODGE is a modern, clean, small budget hotel with 20 well furnished airconditioned rooms with ensuite toilet/bathroom.
Its a 2 star property, will all amenties -
a french bakery and coffee on the groundfloor serves cakes, sandwiches and light meals all day. There is also a small minimart next to it where you can buy all you daily necessities at reasonable prices.
Accommodation Information
There are 5 types of rooms:
- Standard Single room ( 1 bed)
- Standard Double room (1 Queen size bed)
- Standard Twin room ( 2 single beds)
- Standard Triple room (3 single beds)
- Deluxe Double room (1 King size bed)
All rooms are individual new and quiet airconditioning units, ensuite toilet/bathroom, satellite TV, and a large window with a view of the Sukhumvit road.
Location Information
Situated right on the corner of Sukhumvit 64, Sukhumvit road (one of Bangkoks longest roads, where the bts skytrain runs. Easily accessible. From airport is takes approx 40 mins Taxi ride which costs about Baht.250 = eur. 6 or usd 8. We also provide pick up service at USD 12. or EUR. 10.- per trip/car. When you arrive look out for the M-Mart / Merlin coffee shop & bakery which is on the ground floor, next to the Hotel entrance.

This is awesome hostel. Its near sky train stoppage. Owner is Indian....he is a nice person...always helpful. I love this hostel....will come there again.

Ken and his wife are a lovely couple who run this gem of a hotel which is located south east of Bangkok city centre and is situated right next to the BTS. Ken is a great guy who you can strike up wonderful conversations with and he will do whatever he can to help you and make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are quite large, spotless and WiFi enabled. If we ever visit Bangkok again we will most definitely head back to Merlin Lodge.

Ken and his wife go out of their way to be helpful and to make your stay as nice as possible. Ken even offer to bring one of our suitcases to the new room in Bangkok, we had to much luggage for 2 taxi's and that was with no charge. They were helpful to give us a map and made us some notes on were to go to shop, eat and social. We only had to move to other accommodation because my 70 year old mother could not keep on using the stairs. I will promote this place because of the excellent treatment and the personal care that both Ken and his wife provided. Ken keep up your caring way of dealing with your visitors. In the 4 days you became friends also. If I travel alone next time I will defnitly stay with you!
I stayed in Merlin Lodge for one week. I needed to find a place for working stuck to the labtop and I found exactly what I was looking for in this special context. It was a home far from home with Ken and Narissa. The staff is very friendly, smily and so helpful! They are very interesting persons and we had meaningful talks. It was a very warm and friendly atmosphere with others guests also.The guest house is quite recent: with the future opening of the BTS station just in front, of the Night Bazaar 4 minutes walking from there (and also of the roof top!), I am sure that this place will be soon very famous among travellers. There is wifi in the room and Ken speaks French too! Definitely, I will recommend this place and I will be back there if I go back to Bangkok.

The place is very clean including the toilets. The room is comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful in assisting me to find the hotel.
