This is a Trusted Review. Why?
This is absolutely fine for budget travellers. The location is great, within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see, and right next to the tube, trams, train station, supermarket (everything). The owner is lovely, however could put a little more TLC into the place!
The kitchen has 2 out of 4 broken hobs, no kettle or toaster or microwave and not enough bowls/plates/glasses for the amount of people staying there. The oven and washing machine are broken too. Another guest at the apartment found all these things incredibly annoying - I found a laundrette down the road and boiled my water in a pan.
The bathroom is small and the shower head has to be held but the water gets lovely and hot and 2 small towels are provided by the owner.
We enjoyed our stay because our room was private, the free wifi was very good, we had a large room with TV and fan, the kitchen had just about everything we needed to cook evening meals (fridge, pans, chopping board and knife), and it was close to everything we needed.
We did everything we wanted to do whilst in Budapest, and were able to do it very comfortably on a budget by staying here. Therefore I wouldn't mind staying here again.
