My only problem was the noise from the streets. It felt like to sleep in the middle of a busy highway! Unfortunately I hardly could sleep which made my 2 days flight home rather tireding. Apart from this the land lady is very kind, helpful and the place is perfectly furnished.

5 Minutes from Auckland airport a warm Kiwi welcome awaits. 4 ensuites, 6 standard rooms (share bathroom),central heating, lounge dining room with Sky TV, internet (wifi), tea/coffee provided. Car, cycle & luggage storage. Buffet breakfast included in tariff, available from early morning. Courtesy van between 6.30am to 8.45pm one way, 2nd transfer is $9.00 per room. Late night arrivals OK. City bus stop 2 mins walk, see Auckland on the $11.00 day pass. Shops & restaurants nearby.

From the airport, follow the signs to Auckland along highway 20A for almost 5kms. At the 4-way intersection turn right into Kirkbride Rd. Westney Rd is the 1st street on the right & off-street parking is provided. Bus routes to & from the city are 328 & 334.
