We booked two four person room for this trip as there was 8 in party. one of the room was def not fit for four adult (one double bed and one SMALL double bed cram in a room that left you about 2X5 feet clear space) the other room is much have three time of clear space.

Did ask but told that they have no room left and as we already paid before seeing room and also
very late at night when we got there ,we decided to take it.SO MAKE SURE WHEN YOU BOOK CONFIRM WHAT YOU GET IS WHAT YOU REQUEST AND PAID FOR AND REQUEST TO VIEW ROOM BEFORE PAYING FIRST. The so call lounge/dinning area also the locker area is not as shown on photo.,it was quite messy and room full of boxes. Lockers some was just dented and broken into.

An excellent hostel ideally placed in the city and very close to the MTR and buses.
The owner was extremely helpful in all aspects and excellent advice was given being a first timer in HK with my family. The hostel was very clean and tidy and not noisy at all. If you do venture to HK and are looking for a great place to stay, I can thoroughly recommend The Ashoka and if like me you have a small family, there's a family room that can also be rented.
The only downside was that there was no CR in the room and that you had to venture down the hallway.
