This is a Trusted Review. Why?
During warmer months this is the perfect place to stay. I stayed here for a month until mid October. Sarita creates a home away from home and I met so many wonderful travellers here because everybody eats together at meal time. Sarita is the most warm and helpful host and will act as a guide if you need it. I couldn't recommend this place more.
However please be aware that during winter (I stayed here again in December) the rooms are cold and dark so as long as you are prepared for seriously cold nights and frequent and prolonged power cuts you will be fine!
The location is great for buses and Sarita will help you with those when you want to explore KTM.

I live here almost one week, and I love this house so much. The lady here is so nice, helpful and friendly, her cooking is wonderful. The house is very clean and confortable, 24 hours hot water, the location is nearly by the airport, and not far from the kathmandu downtown. The most important, you can live here very well as the real nepali
