About Zbra Hostel
We're a boutique hostel located at the best area of Rio - Leblon. We're just one block away from the beach and near all the best bars, restaurants and stores; many of them are open 24 hours a day.
Our four-floor building has an elevator and we have mixed and female dorms, private rooms and beautiful suites. The dorms have private lockers including one with a key where you can keep your money and passport safe. Each bed also has a plug where you can charge your iPod or laptop.
Our bar is open also at night and we often organise events like Brazilian live music nights and performances.

Good location for the money paid. Decor bit odd - really nice in communal area - but our room looked slightly prison cell-esque! Only one block from beach in a good part of town. Unfortunately when we arrived at 7pm after a flight - they'd apparently run out of towels. Later when wanted to go to sleep realised only one bed in the twin room had sheet, other just had fitted bottom sheet and strange white fluffy cover - asked at reception about a sheet - instead of apologising they lied and tried to tell us that how the beds were made up (without a top sheet) so I slept using my fleece and beach towel as a sheet!
Unfortunately this poor service is to be acceptable in a place where many people will just stay 1 or 2 nights on their way in or out of the capital. I can't recommend this place to others though.
