I really enjoyed staying here & look forward to going back. For a budget traveller this place is perfect. I enjoyed staying here for the following reasons:
Very cheap for a couple to have to have their own room & bathroom
Very clean & tidy. The bathroom was cleaned every day & beds made. They also took any rubbish in the room
Staff were very friendly & helpful. Someone was always on the front desk.

If Athens is the place to be, then this is the hotel to be at. Your home away from home, located in the center of the city.
Pergamos hotel enjoys a privileged location, right on the city center and 15 minutes away from the old town of Athens ( Acropolis, Monastiraki,Plaka area, Psiri, Thiseio, Syntagma sq.)
The hotel is close to all the main access roads, so that any part of the capital or outskirts is within easy access.
The nearest metro station is Omonia, which is connected to both lines 1 and 2 of the underground network.
In our neighborhood you can find supermarkets, restaurants, café-bars, theatres, shops

I really enjoyed staying here & look forward to going back. For a budget traveller this place is perfect. I enjoyed staying here for the following reasons:

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Someone was always on the front desk. They helped with how to travel around the city, where to go, maps, recommended places to eat etc. It was great having such approachable staff.
Everything was within walking distance. about half an hours walk to the acropolis. The area was a little dodgy (if you got the wrong back street you could see prostitutues, drunks drug addicts) but no one approached you. It felt very saft.

Very helpfull staff, clean room, surprisingly there was a fridge. The breakfast was also fine. If you don't have high demands and expectations, just need some normal place to stay, this hotel is just fine for you.. Radomir+EVA, Czech Republic

This hotel is not the Ritz but for your dollar it's great. It took about 8 minutes to walk to the ancient sites and is located 2 minutes from the main drag. If you are going to Olympia you should not miss this place.

We stayed mid July for 45 Euro double thru Travellers Point- great value. We didn't arrive until 1am and walked from Omonia metro station. Passed one group of prostitutes but overall it was not scary. This hotel also has a free internet terminal. The man on reception was very friendly and helpful. We recommend as a clean, comfortable good value accom if you don't mind a walk or short taxi ride from Omonia. Note the metro to Omonia operates until 2am Fri & Sat nights and midnight other nights.

From Airport:
- Take the suburban train "Proastiakos" to Larissa Railway station, then up Philadelphias-ioulianou str. In the corner with
Acharnon str. turn right and after 300m is the hotel.
- Take metro "blue line" to syntagma Metro station and then transfer to Metro "red line" and get off at Omonia Metro station,
From Omonia station, take 3rd Septemper str., in Stournari str. turn left to the end is the hotel.
- Take express bus number X95 to Syntagma square, transfer to Metro "red line" and get off at Omonia Metro station,
From Port (Pireaus):
-By metro "green line" to Omonia station, then take 3rd September str., in Stournari str. left turn to the end, here we are.
