Run by friendly owner Maureen Wall, Suncrest is a long-established bed and breakfast in Waterford, located just 3km from Waterford city in Slieverue, birthplace of historian and scholar, John O'Donovan.

Enjoying a rural setting, all rooms are en-suite and equipped with free WiFi, TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. A full Irish breakfast is included in the rates.

Suncrest makes an ideal base for touring the south east of Ireland, with Kilkenny and its regal Ormonde Castle to the north. Now fully restored, the 900-year-old castle is one of the most popular attractions in Ireland.

Suncrest is located 300m off the N25 Waterford-Rosslare route, and an hour from Rosslare Ferry Port.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

We had a very enjoyable time at Suncrest. We stayed for 2 nights at the start of our holiday and then 1 night at the end of the holiday. Maureen was a great host and provided us with helpful tips and suggestions which we used over the course of our holiday in Ireland. We would definitely stay here again.
