Damage to hotel property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotels property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
Removal of hotel property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests in Cash
Inappropriate behavior
It is the hotels policy that all our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and as a responsible host we believe that we have a duty to our guests to protect them from inappropriate behavior. Should any actions by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Duty Manager, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the Duty Manager, the hotel reserves the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Police may become involved at the hotels discretion, or guests may be asked to leave the hotel.
Vehicles
All vehicles are parked at the owners risk. Should a problem occur with a vehicle in the hotel car park, the hotel cannot accept any liability. If a vehicle is left in the hotel car park for more than 8 hours after the guest has departed without the written consent of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to remove the vehicle at the owners expense.
Lost / Damaged property
If we find any lost property, we will make every reasonable effort to locate the owner and return it, but if we cannot locate the owner and an item is not reclaimed with 3 months of the guests departure it will be disposed of by the hotel.
Pets / Electrical appliances
No pets allowed in the hotel.
Electrical appliances, such as toasters, mini cookers, iron and portable grills, may not be used in the rooms.

The staff is great!!! The food is reasonably priced and quite acceptable. A nice breakfast is included. The eating area is picturesque and as well as the rest of the resort, quaint and quiet. BYOB. There is a fridge in the nice size stand alone room which is clean, housing a spectacular bed and excellent bathroom. If you want a place away from the crowds and don't care about a great beach, making it more affordable, than this is the place for you.

I had a wonderful stay at Furaha. What I wanted most was to get away and be able to relax completely, and Furaha certainly provided me with that. It did have the added bonus though of good internet access when I needed it, and the fridge, airconditioning and even TV in the room was a great plus. The drawbacks is that there is no beach, and so unlike many of the more touristy places, you cannot sit on your deckchair and wade into the ocean. There was a great pool though.

The best thing though about Furaha is the staff. Mohammed and Nasoor especially stand out. Their every desire was to keep me happy, and I did not want for anything while I was there.

I would definitely go there again if I want to get away from it all!

i had three interesting days n two night in furaha, the memories of which will linger long in my memory.
the management and staff of Furaha makes you feel at home and prompt in their response. i left for Zanzibar without a clear itinerary, but that changed when i got to Furaha, their team were able to help in drafting a planned itinerary and arranged vehicle to convey us to various places of interest.
after a long of scuba diving, snookering, party and sight seeing, one is always renew by the serenity of the furaha resort, and Zanzibar fresh meal is never in short supply.
