Nothing but great things to say about this hostel. Ive been travelling for just over a month and this is by far the best place to stay when in Guadalajara. The brothers that run the joint are easy to get along with and they helped me out with everything i needed. It has only been open for a short time so its a gem if your keen on having somewhere quiet to stay and on the cheap.
They helped me book a Tequila tour while i was staying with them which was well worth it. The pictures dont so it justice, it is a stunning level by level conversion with a nice rooftop. I'll definitely be booking back in if i ever make it back to Guadalajara.

Hostal Galeria Guadalajara shares with you the diverse activities that will definitely leave an awesome memory of your visit to the city. Our Concierge service (Tour Desk) is more than ready to offer you the best cultural activities, concerts and a gastronomical variety of options at your disposal. We are aware that you have little time to get to know our city and that is why we have designed a flexible agenda of activities to suit your needs and interests so you can make the most of your days with us.
The historical center is only a 10 minute walk away and just about any taxi will take you to any auditory in the city in just 15 minutes! Just 3 streets away you can find Chapultepec ave., famous for having a diversity of unique bars, cafes and restaurants. This zone is also known for its classic architecture and for congregating young people with lots of culutural interests.
Everyday, we have a Tour to Tequila Town.
Tuesdays: We go wrestling at the Coliseo Arena!
Wednesday: Night tour on bicycles.
Thursday: We go around the bars in Chapultepec so you can choose your favorite one!
Fridays: Party at our own exlcusive bar in Hostal Galeria!
Saturdays: Chapultepec Cultural Market (tianguis) with live music and once its over back to the bar at the Hostel!
Sundays: Recreactive Activity around the city in bicycles.

Facilities:
Hostal Galeria offers you 6 rooms, all with queen size beds! We have bar-terrace where you can sun bathe during the day and relax with a dead cold beer and good music. The T.V area counts with a comfy couch, X-box, blue ray and least but not last a T.V with Cable and WiFi. The kitchen is completely equipped and capable to cook your favorite dish.
