We felt really lucky to find this new hostel - an idyllic stay in a large garden where we woke up among the swaying palms every morning, yet were just three minutes walk from the main square for restaurants. The couple, Fernanda and Peter, are really lovely and very welcoming, greeting us with smiles every time. The breakfasts were amazing, different each morning and using fruits from the garden. Our room was cleaned everyday, and we were given great advice on the best beaches for swimming. It was a great laid back stay, with a couple who clearly love what they are doing - and it makes all the difference. We had a brilliant time on our island escape.

About Abaquar Hostel
The Abaquar Hostel is located in a 3262 square meter area surrounded by a lot of green, with an extensive garden full of palm and fruit trees producing and presenting us with the fruits of each season. The garden is crossed by a small river (arm of the sea) which contains the typical rich flora and fauna of Boipeba mangroves.The hostel is located very close to the main square and the beach,but in a quiet area with lots of privacy where you can wake up every morning listening the birds singing.The hostel is managed independently(no cards required).Cancellation policy: 48hrsCash on arrival
