This is a Trusted Review. Why?
Hanania Hotel was more than we expected. The location is tucked away nicely in the Christian corner, just enough so you are really in the heart of things. With everything within easy walking distance (maximum 2 kilometres) you really cannot go wrong.
Daniel and his staff were fantastic. Extremely helpful and booked restaurants and organised transport to and from the airport.
The rooms were clean and quirky. With local art on the walls of each room and in the courtyards you really get a feel for the culture of Damascus.
The breakfasts were great - simple but fresh.
I recommend Hanania Hotel for anyone who doesn't want to stay in a sterile environment - too much character at Hanania for them!
