I was booked in for 9 nights in this place. I stayed 1!
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I think the description should be rewritten, and some customer service training should be given to the staff. Security needs to be beefed up, or at least behave as if they care about their guests safety.
Like your previous reviewer I arrived yesterday at 1305 hours to be met by an empty reception desk. The doors are open to the passing public. I waited, and eventually went to find someone to help me. A young man, whose only English was to ask "Do you have a booking?" in a tone that was accusatory rather than welcoming. I don't expect everyone to speak English(and I do speak some Spanish) but if they do, they need to recognise if they are asking because they need to check, rather than if they disbelieve you.
That said, I had gave him the booking number, he called another chap who then said, "well you cannot check in until 1400 hours" in an equally curt manner. So I had no choice but to leave my bags. I am a lone female traveller and I decided the security of this place was lax. On my return at 1400 hours I had the same experience of having to find someone to check me in, which in fact they didn't do, but gave me the room key. My bags already there.
Please note, I am also having to pay for 2 people in this room, as I wanted a room ensuite and the choice is a double not a single. The room was internal to the hotel, no natural light, small and dingy. The bathroom light could only be put on by going in, shutting the door as the switch was by the shower. No wardrobes to hang clothes. If two people could manage in this room I would be amazed. I felt imprisoned.
I went to an internet cafe, (their wifi is too low to use it), to check on this hotel as I thought perhaps I had mis read the information or looked at the wrong photos - no!
I can assure you the description and the reality are worlds apart.
After breakfast (which is described as wonderful - is ok) this morning I checked out, no way I am staying another 8 nights. I paid the additional 8U$ (paid a $17 deposit online) for my one night; only to be asked for the complete booking as payment. As a business traveller, there is not a hotel or hostel for that matter in the world that would try to charge you after one night stay.
A woman I had never seen before advised me that Hostel bookers will charge my credit card. I advised her that if they do, it will not be paid. In addition if I find my card charged I will no longer use the booking service, and warn others about it.
I have booked nearly all my South and Central accomodation via Travellers Point and had no problems at all up until this point.

when I got there they did not have any room available, posada don quijote did not respect my reservation number 23897-19468390. So please, I request to get my refund of $6.50 US dollars back immediately!
